My heart beats a little more faster, and my hands get sweaty. I feel like all the breath from me is sucked out, leaving me breathless.
And it’s not because of a guy.
Literally though, it is hard to breathe. I’m currently at the hospital, an IV stuck to my hand, a nebulizer to my right, and shaking hands. But I like to find the fun in all of this, especially since I’ve been in the hospital more than my age(I’m 18!). Yesterday when I decided to get admitted, my mom and I laughed because we knew the drill too well. We knew what to bring, what to prepare, and my mom teased me when I didn’t cry when they inserted the IV.
Although asthma is as serious as it gets, I know because I had them since I was a baby, I can’t let it bring me down. So when I woke up I began searching for asthma jokes, just to divert myself from my palpitations and my headache from my sinusitis(did I mention I had that too?). So here I present, the best asthma jokes I could ever find on the internet.
I had asthma when I was younger, but only in the cold. Actually, I still can't breathe well in the cold, but I don't think it's bad enough for an inhaler.
We suffer from asthma on both sides of my family and my youngest son has severe asthma so I know how it can be.
I occasionally need an inhaler-luckily I do not get full blown asthma. Nice that you can joke about it a bit-some of those pics were cute–I really hope you are feeling better soon–wheezing is no picnic.
These are really funny. You know every time I have to go to the hospital for whatever reason, I am always cracking jokes while I am waiting for results. I have to wonder if the nurses think I am faking being sick though. lol.
I also suffer from asthma. It really acts up when I get sick or excercise. These are some funny jokes Ihave to admit!
I'm sorry that you had to be hospitalized for your asthma. My siblings suffer from asthma and it can definitely be scary!
Hope you feel better soon it can not be nice but good for you finding jokes and finding the fun.
It sounds like you've got a lot of good family support. I'm sorry to hear you're in the hospital though. 🙁
Outlooks like yours on our issues make all the difference in the world! Thanks for the jokes. Did enjoy them. Hope you are feeling better!
My goodness! I hope you start feeling better soon! But I love your sense of humor about it!
HUGS! I have asthma and it sucks big time! BUt oh my word that asthmatic Ninja…. ahahahahaha
Shocks. I hope you get well soon.
I was diagnosed with asthma when I was in my 40s. Not sure what happened, but it went away. I did start eating healthier and completely different.. but have no idea why I no longer have a problem with asthma. Hope you stay well… getting a cold can sure make the asthma worse.
Sorry to hear you are in the hospital! Its nice to see that you are being tough and finding humor with your asthma. Thats the attitude to have!
I suffered from asthma as a child, and I empathize with what you're going through. These memes are a great way to look at it lightly, though!
Asthma is very serious! I am scared for my youngest brother and sister who suffers with it and is in the hospital every week. I think this crazy weather has alot to do with the attacks.
Oh I know asthma is no laughing matter. My father had it along with my brother and 2 of my kids had it when they were younger as well. I've had the emergency room visits with them. They are older and doing really great without it. No inhalers or anything so I'm happy. I hope you get better soon.
My daughter has asthma too, and we have definitely learned to find the humor in it. Thanks for sharing these memes.
Asthma is scary but might as well make the best of it, right?
Great well soon! I have had asthma as long as I can remember and I had to chuckle at some of those pictures 🙂 x
I hope you are feeling better Le-an. I know what it feels like to be short of breath. Although I did not have asthma, I suffered from breathlessness for many years due to a heart defect. I like that you have a sense of humor even while going through all of this. Stay strong.
Asthma is nothing to mess around with. I'm glad you're getting the needed treatment.
You look so happy even though you are in the hospital. Get well soon.
Lol! Take good care of yourself though. Don't get too stressed out.
Get well soon! Sometimes life throws curve balls right?
all my brothers had asthma growing up it's tough but good to see you have a sense of humor about it. Take care girl and quit looking at hot guys that take your breath away..lol
I have asthma, too, so I feel your pain. What gets on my nerves is the wheezing. It's so annoying. Feel better soon.
A lot of my younger cousin have asthma. I have very mild one and only require a inhaler once in a while. But my little cousins used to have to get rushed to the ER for asthma attacks! It can be very scary. Glad that you have people near you to help you get through the days in the hospital!
